Also, instead of "open source software", you can also search for "wordpress", "wordpress plugin", "wordpress developer" and so on. You should be able to find plenty of pages where these developers list their sponsors to say "thank you", and some that have "do follow" backlinks. Instead of "donations" you can also search for "inurl:donate", "inurl:sponsors", "inurl:contributors", "inurl:contributions" and so on.
