Hello all,
We would like to have a website to be as a search engine for Twitter with our own algorithm (dynamic one).
The idea is to have a simple webpage to enter a text, similar to any search engine (like google). and a 'search' button.
When a text is entered and the button is clicked, the results related to the search query are in tabs:
*Account tab: the results will be Twitter accounts with all information related to Twitter profile such as number of tweets, followers, following ..etc. Which accounts to display is based on
our pre-defined algorithm, which is configured in the back end vua admin account. you should be able to click 'load more' to see more.
*Tweets Tab: the result is specific tweets that are related to the search query. showing the tweet is similar to the Twitter website. but the key here is
which tweets to display. This is based on our specific algorithm. you should be able to click 'load more' to see more.
*Photos Tab: Tweets that only contains photos. which tweets are also based on our algorithm. Displaying the photos are in a form of very simple slideshow.
*Videos
Tab: same as Photos but videos.
*Hashtags. displaying a hashtag with a specific tweets in the hashtag. the hashtag text is displayed and constant, and the tweets are similar to the Tweets tab above. you should be able to click 'load more' to see more.
in short, it's similar to Google
regarding the concept. i.e. very simple neat search engine but the search domain is Twitter. Which result to choose is a special algorithm we developed and can be dynamically enhanced form admin account.
There should be a CMS and basic website features such as About, contact us, ...
etc.
*****Finally, the algorithm which is very critical:
The website should allow visitors to sign in with their Twitter account. From the visitor Twitter profile, we will apply our algorithm. So, the results are displayed on the base of how relevant to the visitor. This is a 'must'
functionality.
The website we want is very similar to the following websites:
http://topsy.com/
http://www.twinitor.com/
but the difference is that we want to let the user sign in with his/her Twitter account and then show the search results based on the search query AND
user Twitter account with a special algorithm. Our domain is only Twitter not social media websites.
final point:
The design has to be very very simple, clean, neat, and dynamic but also professional . we can speak about the design in a later stage.
