Contest Brief

I wish to have created a hollow, rotating double cube in HTML5.

The following basic functionality is required. Superior alternative or enhanced functionality will be viewed positively.

The double cube should be easily able to rotate on all axes by grabbing a corner such that;
1) The labels should always be legible.
2) The labels should maintain their relative position.
3) The labels should always be forward facing and the right way up.
4) The labels will be hyperlinks to other pages on the website.
5) When a label is selected, the arrows pointing to the selected label should be highlighted / emphasised.
6) There should be a reset button to restore the original view.
7) There should be a Left button to show the labels on the left side of the Double Cube. IE The other labels are hidden.
8) There should be a Right button to show the labels on the right side of the Double Cube. IE The other labels are hidden.
9) There should be a Centre button to show the labels on the centre of the Double Cube. IE The other labels are hidden.
10) The arrows can be hidden / shown by the click of a button.

This is a proof of concept for a more detailed design. At this stage the functionality is being tested.

The project is complete when the diagram added is replicated.

To ensure you have read the specification, please begin your reply with "Cockatoo".

I am looking for someone who is not only technically competent, but strives hard to meet and exceed the client's requirements and expectations. I do not want some "flask" who pings me there work, without testing it first, nor someone pestering about whether they have satisfied the requirements.

I do not know if this is because they find other work, lose interest or it is over there heads. Of course, they may find they have underestimated the amount of work required and low-bid the fee they submitted.

It has not gone particularly well. I have the prototype but for various reasons, the freelancers seem to drop off.

Hi All. Thank you for your efforts. To clarify, By clicking on a LEFT button, the other labels are hidden, and only the left are displayed.

I understand you're mad at bad freelancers but I ain't one of em... The freelancers before me simply used Cube.js to create some shitty cubes... I'll make something unique and nobody does that around here...But to be honest your drawings are confusing... I'm assuming it's 2 cubes on top of one another and the labels are on the corners? What about lables 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17? Are labels 13 and 14 on the first cube's faces? Does that mean label 15 is in the middle of second cube? The blue arrows don't really help... I just need to know exactly what you want and I'll make it happen within 24 hours. I never deliver anything less than perfect, I'm new at freelancer.com but this means nothing, I refused to upload an entry because I'm not sure what you really want.

Please Note: I am not looking for your version of a spinning cube, I am looking for a replica of what is provided.

In light of the extra functionality, I have increased the prize money.

I have added an extra diagram. Some points are off the double cube, eg Label16 and 17. Note, they will still need to rotate with the structure and maintain their relative position. IE. They are not static.

Questions that show an attempt to understand. Checking progress with me without asking me to check every minor step. If you don't have the confidence to submit a proposal, then try this.

This is not a brain picking exercise. There are far too many freelancers who quite frankly are time wasters, and I wish to sift them out. It is the process that I am interested in, as well as the end result.

For the record, last time I guaranteed a prize, even though the best submission fell way short of the requirement, I was forced to award it to that particular freelancer.
