Arctic Snowshoe Race: design for beach flag/banner

Contest Brief

Midnight Sun Marathon is a norwegian foundation who organize different events year round. We are starting up an annual snowshoe race in Northern Norway, called Arctic Snowshoe Race. For this we need a beach flag/event flag design:
- The flag needs to incorporate our logo (we have two different colours for the logo)
- We want the design to be clean and simple, but at the same time striking
- The design should invoke some feeling of the arctic (e.g. mountains, snow)
- Snowshoes or snowshoe tracks could be a part of the design, see file used for the medal attached.
- text: Arctic Snowshoe Race - Tromsø Norway. The latter may be excluded since it is featured in our logo
- Fonts for the medal are attached. Same or similar fonts are preferred.
- Size of the flag is about 90x320 cm.
The attached pdf is a flag based on 90x320. The logo has to be incorporated in the design (either in blue or yellow) Vector file of the logo can be obtained on request. PS: The flag in this file is a sketch only used to explain the project. We don't necessarily want the submissions looking like this.

UPDATE: Many have submitted sketches of mountains. We like the look of that but it would be great to actually recognize the mountains. Attached is a pic of our skyline. It would be amazing to see a sketch using the mountain siluette that I have highlighted with the red line. Please feel free to exaggerate the siluette a little (and remove the surroundings) and use the lines that you can see in the mountains and valley.
We also attached a pic of our recently ordered medal, and the design elements they used. We would like to see the some of the same elements in the flag.
Pardon for not including this earlier, but we just recently got hold of these last details.

We would like to see the some of the same elements in the flag. So if the design involves snowshoes, it should be the same as in the medal.
