Contest Brief

We are creating a collection of digital collectible cards for the best poker players in the world. These cards will be like baseball cards, but they will only exist digitally.

We need someone to design a set of templates which can be overlayed on top of photos of the poker players to give the collector a very valuable, high quality, and consistent feel for all the poker players' cards in a set.

We are thinking the overlayed template should be similar to a frame, but we are also open to your suggestion. The photos we will provide are square. We would like the frame to extend above and below the photo, creating a portrait-like rectangle.

We're looking for your creativity to help us design the card, but there are a few elements we would like incorporated into the design:
- Player's Name
- Player's Hometown
- Four levels of rarity: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. More rare cards should have a higher perceived quality, based on the design
- Animation: the card can be flat, but if possible, we want it to rotate back and forth, as if the flat card existed in a 3D world. The animation needs to be very smooth, and enhance the look and feel of the card

This project has potential for long-term repeating work. We want someone who is flexible, and can come up with many ideas - outside the box is welcome here.

Time is also of the essence. We have a very short term deliverable (a few days) for some concept art. Following that, we will need you to refine and improve the cards' art based on feedback we receive and the direction we want to go.
