Contest Brief

IMPORTANT: 33.5" is the width, 80" is the length. I am seeing a lot of designs here that look like banners. This is going to be a retractable poster.
Looking for a talented graphic designer to create a set of 2 big posters for an upcoming author event. The posters will promote the author and his books.
The winning entry will include two posters. They will be printed and display next to one another.
I have attached images of posters from other authors that I liked.
I have also attached all the book cover files and elements you could use in the poster. I have won Best of State three times, so you can use that image three times, and I would encourage you to do so.
I have also attached a couple other images I have used in the past for posters and bookmarks.
Generally, we are looking for an "Epic" fantasy feel.

Key Elements:
Each poster will be 33.5" x 80". Please make sure the graphics can handle being that big without pixelating. Let me know if you need other files for the images.

Style/Theme:
- Fantastical: The client prefers a fantastical theme for the poster, which can incorporate elements of medieval, magic, or sword/spear action. This will help create a sense of intrigue and capture the imagination of potential attendees.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Graphic design expertise: The ideal candidate must have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create visually stunning and attention-grabbing designs.
- Understanding of branding: The designer should understand the importance of consistent branding and be able to incorporate the author's existing branding elements into the poster.
- Creativity and imagination: The ability to bring a fantastical theme to life and create a visually captivating design is crucial for this project.

    Again, everyone! The width is 33.5", 80" is the length. It should look like a tall poster, NOT a banner. There are some excellent entries here that I wouldn't be able to use because the dimensions are wrong.
