Contest Brief

The entire effect lasts less than one second (closer to half a second), and involves a CG bird realistically hitting a window. I've included all related files; first, you have the DeadBirdReference, which is what the bird should look like (coloring, shape, size, etc.). Then you have three video clips covering: a real example of a bird hitting a window (to see movement, etc.), the temporary effect that I currently have in place (I prefer the flying on this one versus the real one, but after the bird hits the window it looks very fake), and the clean plate to work from. Finally, I included the green screen clip I used to generate the temp effect (original link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7BKbyW4Yqo). If you would rather use a pre-fab 3D model, here is a possibility: http://www.cadnav.com/3d-models/model-29375.html (no rigging, though, and the coloring would have to be tweaked). I would like a rendered video clip with alpha (of just the bird) as a final deliverable, along with the project file(s) used in generating it.

Entries #1 and #3 are simply superb and are certainly the ones to model your own entry after, as they are neck-in-neck for the prize! Just a little more than five hours remaining... Wonderful work @Rodidesign and @artseba185! Let's see if anyone else can come close...
