This must be a custom template. You can NOT use a preexisting template! By submitting to this contest, you agree that all work you submit, are the product of your work and creativity. If your work is determined to be the work of someone else, or a preexisting template, you forfeit this contest. If you are selected the winner, and it is determined that you broke these terms, you forfeit the win, and your selection will be nullified.

What you are delivering

You are delivering a functional template. Meaning I can click through it and see it in action in a browser. You are designing and developing ONLY the front end. No back end/Server work.

At the end of this contest, you will deliver all HTML,JS,CSS, and IMAGE files.

Coding

All code needs to be properly indented, and variable names for classes, ids, and objects need to be clear and descriptive.

Action

When an action is take on the site, for example, login button is pushed, submit bid button is pushed, etc... The site should indicate to the user that the action is being processed and prevent them from resubmitting until the process is complete, if it is necessary.

Validation

There should be input validation

Files

All Custom JavaScript and CSS need be separated into files that represent what they are for.

For example, all CSS/JS related to Job detail page would go in job.js, and job.css. All CSS/JS related code would go User page would go in user.js and user.css.

ALL Global CSS and JS go into global.css, global.js files

Example some examples:

Frameworks

When using frameworks. DO NOT Modify the code inside the framework! For example, If you are using Bootstrap, and need to modify a property, DO NOT Change the code in the Bootstrap code! Modify or create a new element in the related file. For example, if you need to make a change to a property for an element in the Users page, do it in the user.css file, NOT in boostrap.css!

IMPORTANT - Requirement

Before you can submit anywork. You must use the site to see all the elements and functionality of the site.

Here are the steps you need to take BEFORE you do anyone work!

Open up two browsers and create two accounts with your username. For example I would do Protected1 and Protected2

Than take the following steps:

Create a job
Post a bid
Update your email
Update Your Password
Start a conversation
Select a Bidder
Accept a job
Leave feedback
Review Feedback

To do this, use both accounts, one to create a job the other to post a bid, and then select the bid and accept it. Click on Complete Job and leave feedback.

    why did you close early on? We have been working on a functional Angular 4 website with a virtual backend so you can literally change the link to your backend and you are done! we just still missing the html part only

    I fully understand you want login system and ability to edit profile settings(passwords), but please understand that they fall under back-end development. All those require verification from databases. Passwords are stored in databases , and linking to databases is done using PHP(back-end). If it's about just coding those things , then yes I can do it but what's the point of doing every single thing even before I'm awarded. I feel I gave enough data to verify that I can easily do it.My time is also precious.Hope you understand . I'm out, hope you don't use my design

      Hi, the steps to test out the site were not working, and as a result, you could not complete them. I have fixed them so you can test it out now. I have reconsidered your submission.

      The fault was on my part, due to bugs in the program.

      The only thing that is left that I can think of is the About Page. But, I have no idea how to design that, I'll let you guys handle it.

      Keep in mind this is a new project, and I'm testing and developing at the same time. Although I try not to make too many changes, I will make necessary changes.

      Can you please tell me what error you received? I've currently testing and any feedback with regards to issues/bugs, site/function not working would be great. Please tell me what steps you took when the bid failed the first time.

      I don't remember the error exactly and I can't duplicate it — it was something along the lines of "Unable to process data at this time." I can tell you that I was receiving it when trying to place a bid using a private tab in Safari. I switched to a non-private tab and it worked fine.

    One thing to NOTE categories can have SUBCATEGORIES

    For example, if you Click on Desktop Application, once you go to desktop Application view, you will see its subcategories:

    Desktop Application
    -->Mac Application
    -->Windows Application
    -->Linux Application

    Keep this in Mind when you are designing the site. Right now this is NOT implemented, so you will not see it, but it needs to be designed for.
