TO ALL CONTEST PARTICIPANTS, PLEASE NOTE: Do not write Road Cycling Club on the logo. The only text on the logo should read "speedcat racing".

Hello,

We are looking to design a logo for a road cycling club called Speedcat Racing. It should be a minimal, subtle and elegant logo. We want it to have an upscale, premium feel, not the standard sports club logo. Think a cycling club for designers.

To give some guidance, we are looking for a nice sans serif font and fine lines (see four attached logos for a similar style monochrome, fine lines style). We want it simple - not much detail on the illustration. Basically:

A) Some creative interpretation of the name - if you have an idea on a cool non-literal symbol, this could be a winner! We are open to any kind of design that looks nice - typographic, with some design elements etc. See below for examples of creative work we like:

B) To give some more tangible guidance, in case you have no unordinary ideas that come to your mind, one possible option would be:

- Circular logo, on the rim reading Speedcat Racing - either next to each other or Speedcat (on the top half) and Racing (on the bottom half)
- Inside the circle a symbol of a Speedcat that you will have to invent and design - could be just geometric symbol or a more abstract representation, could be just a small detail - it is up to you! Remember elegance and premium feel.

See interesting examples attached. Would like something more nuisanced and creative, simple, geometric...

Specifics of the files we will need:
- Vector logo with .ai files, as well as .jpg and .png
- Monochrome - one version in black (white/transparent background) and one in white (black/transparent background)

Thank you everyone for submitting your proposals! We have a good start and getting better. In addition to the more obvious cat in the circle, we would like to see some more creative interpretations of the Speedcat Racing logo. It does not have to have a literal cat in it.

We would like it to have an elegant, upscale feel. Could be typographic only, or just a symbolic element that connects somehow with the name. No need to include a full cat. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
