Contest Brief

A logo design for Harmon Golf, a full-service, membership-driven golf club located in Massachusetts which is unique in its instructional and practice facilities and which offers a highly experienced instructional staff using cutting-edge golf instructional and fitting technology, and which also includes a challenging, nine-hole golf course, as well as a well-equipped fitness facility staffed by a highly experienced, TPI-certified trainer who specializes in creating and supervising customized programs for golfers.
You should also wish to consider that the Harmon Club is seeking to target men, women, youth, seniors, and corporate members.
You should be aware that the "Harmon" in Harmon Club refers to Claude Harmon, a legendary golf instructor whose son, Butch Harmon, is one of the most familiar names in professional golf instruction today; hence, the "Harmon" name can evoke the tradition and history of golf.
You should also note that this logo should be designed to be able to include the following tag line, though this tag line will not necessarily appear with the logo itself in some applications, i.e., on golf apparel, so the logo must be able to stand alone, as well as work in conjunction with this tag line:

You need to consider whether the logo you design can be embroidered to appear on a golf shirt of other apparel. Merchandising our brand is important to us!
