Contest Brief

Organization Name: Miqueas 6.8

Mission: To save children from poverty and injustice and raise them to be leaders in Honduras.

What we do: Miqueas 6.8 is a children's home based in Honduras. Unlike many places, we are not an orphanage, but rather a home. We have legal custody of all 39 of our children and care for them like our own. We give them the highest quality of care, love, education, and support. We are built on the following pillars: Love mercy. Act justly. Walk humbly.

Why a new logo?: We are in the process of updating our information, website, and marketing materials, and our logo is on the list! We need a facelift! As we are growing our donor base, and looking for corporate sponsorships, we need something more modern, clean and sophisticated for our organization.

Design: We are looking for a clean logo that is modern and easy to read. Some of our sources of inspiration have been from Charity Water and Live 58. We desire to have a logo that shows what we do (a home that provides excellent care to children) without using fingerprints or footprints. We would like to place more emphasis on the word "Miqueas" rather than 6.8. Feel free to include our three pillars in your design or not at all. We do not have a preference. We ask that you stick close to these specifications, however, we are open to the creativity of the designer, and if you think of something out of the box and unique, please send it our way.

Files Needed: psd file, ai file, svg, and vecor file

Colors: Give us options! We would love to see various colors and combinations.

I wanted to include some sources of inspiration of the type of logo we are looking for! Attached are some links to logos we have seen that we love. We can try to focus on the "M". We can try to turn it into doors, building blocks, tree roots, etc. Be creative! I love to see different things!

Miqueas is Spanish for Micah and the full title is a biblical reference: Micah 6.8. :)
