Contest Brief

The brief is to design a logo for MissionsMate.

This website will help to connect the missionary that is out on the field and feeling like quitting, the supporters who are home and wanting to be involved more, the churches who need to keep in better communication with their missionaries, and those looking to go and serve with a missionary, church, or organization, but don’t know where to look.

In terms of design characteristics, I love flat design, with possibly muted colors or bold (not sure, but definitely not pastels). I want it to be sleek, professional, yet friendly and inviting.

I definitely want an icon to go with the logo, and I want it to be based on people, and a globe. I would encourage you to really think outside the box, I really want something creative, surprise me!

I have uploaded 4 pictures to help with the design inspiration…the 2 maps show color schemes that I like…and the 2 other pictures give ideas of globes…this doesn’t mean I’m restricting the contest to just globes like these, I’m just giving examples of the creativity I’m looking for. Please try and create a unique, innovative, iconic design for this vision!
