Contest Brief

I am planning to organise a murder dinner.
Players will meet in a restaurant and they need to identify the murderer amongst 10 different characters.

The poster I would like is as following (see screenshot for basic mock up):
- Black background
- Red blood letters saying "Muertre a Mulhouse"
- A light beam from the ceiling pointing down on the victims body
- Around the body in the background you see silhouettes of the different characters.
These Characters are:
- The cleaning lady
- The butler (he can maybe hold a tray on his hand)
- The wife of the victim (can be like the lady in the example picture)
- the mother in law (maybe someone with a large hat)
- a Mafia guy (with mafia hat and maybe a cigarette in his mouth)
- The mayor (maybe a mayor chain around his neck)
- an explorer (female, as shown in the example)
- The victims brother (can be just any man)
- A Baron (as in the example)
- Miss Violette (his sexy lover, as in the example).

I like to be it like a noir detective poster (see also the example and the detective in the background).

Poster should be in LANDSCAPE

Hello how are you, I send you my proposal #64 , they are not silhouettes only, they are silhouetted and tacked black for the black effect and give you more realism, I send you an alternative with mansion bottom and bottomless. You also attach a visual to real size (120x70) so you can see that the images are not damaged. If you give me as a winner you can still improve with highlights in the silhouettes to improve the shapes that are achieved to hide with the black and the depth finishes so that the shapes look more natural and not with the edges so marked. I remain attentive to your suggestions, thank you.

Good morning sir, I tell you what I did and why. I was recently watching Peaky Blinders, and I'm a fan of vintage mafia movies. At the same time, I was inspired by the American postcards, a bit of those horror movies like The Black Lagoon Monster. I did not want to give it a vulgar and bloodthirsty air, I think that takes away some mystery, instead, I tried to create a scenography that is somber and transmits mysticism and darkness, in this way the noir style is represented for me.
As for the design that I present, I made two palettes of colors one cold and one warm, and I propose three different types, two of the noir style and one more violent.
I already have the files ready in print format, if you like what you design as soon as you finish the contest you would have the files ready.
I hope it's your taste Don, and enjoy that dinner if anyone comes out alive, lol.

  Hi Mishka,
  1) No, the images are just to get inspiration. However if you want you can used them.
  2) A4 Landscape would be fine.
  3) No need for that.
