Dear my friend, I have 2 questions: 1- Is it mandatory to setback 5' or if when requiring windows? could I use all 30' wide if I do not require windows from sides? 2- Could I setback more than 5' from back side and design an duplex house? thank you

Grass, trees or fence in the front would be good. The porch would have to be behind the 15’ setback.

    Dear contest holder,
Thank's for this opportunity. But something is not clarified.
Could you please send the exact google address location? I need it to know for the access the street and alley and about the sun rising!
and could you please explain more about the setback? should we decrease the lot from each site 5'? you don't have enough area, and if we decrease more it gets more smaller

This is for a prototype home and would be built in a number of locations, so no specific address. The building needs to be no closer than 5’ to the side lot lines, hence the maximum width is 20’. It’s typical for the area

    Dear,
Thank you so much for the opportunity, I have some questions:
1/ Can we open windows and doors at the side form setback line, I just thinks about some one another house will see our house,
2/ How about traditional Live over there? we will design more comfortable and You will get more benefit ,
    Please clarify, Thanks

Yes you can have windows on the side, it’s typical for the area, but you are right that they will face another house 10’ away. Sometimes windows are higher up like a clerestory. You can do additional carve out set backs to help this. I don’t think understand what you mean by traditional live over there.
