Contest Brief

The purpose of this contest is to design a small advertisement of 92mm*62mm in colors, to be provided in pdf file.

ABOUT THE AD
This contest is launched because we want to make a UNIQUE and ORIGINAL ad that attracts the reader to want to eat in the restaurant. No specific dish or menu --- just an overall hidden message that "we are here - come and try us out". The ad is an overall general message, that will be repeated every month for 12 months. A secondary purpose of the ad it to build and emphasise the brand “Stray Asia” and the logo for the long term.

You have almost totally FREE HANDS with the design - anything that comes to your mind, as long as you consider the following:

Do:
- make it have a feeling of “delicious food” and/or make it have a feeling of “South Asia” (preferably both)
- include the logo
- include the address and contact data
- include the QR code

Do not:
- change the logo
- change the dimensions

ABOUT THE MAGAZINE WHERE THE AD WILL APPEAR
The magazine/calendar where the ad will appear is a simple calendar type of booklet called “what’s on in town”. It is handed out for free to guests at restaurants, bars, dentist and doctor waiting rooms, etc,. Please see photo of the publication attached. A new issue is published every month, and we are signed up for 12 months. 18000 copies are printed every month.

ABOUT THE REASTAURANT FOR WHICH THE AD SHALL BE MADE
The restaurant is called “Stray Asia” (see www.strayasia.com). Stray Asia is a fast food stall serving super-delicious food from 4 different South Asian countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and India). Most dishes have a curry sauce included. Stray Asia offers affordable prices – and high quality. Only the best raw materials are used and no artificial flavor enhancers. All meat is Halal.

The food stall is conveniently located in Xinghai subway station square in Suzhou, China.

      If you need my help anytime I'm here my Entry #35 It was a distinctive color that attracted anyone to read the ad - And pictures of appetite food
      And some of the characteristic places of the food country - And all restaurant information is proportionate , I think this was to become a distinctive and interesting advertisement for attention, and encourages customers to get food from your restaurant

    One small clarification. The ad is only "quarter page" - not "half page".

      Yes - that's the magazine. As you can see it is definitely not a hi-class glossy publication -- it is just a simple mass-published calendar in cheap print. That makes the job with this ad a bit more challenging actually - because how in this situation to make the Stray Asia ad stand out from the rest, and actually look high-class?
