Contest Brief

We want your help creating a design for the home page of our website, for both mobile and desktop. The website is a social recommendation platform. We are looking for a layout that is simple and scientific matched with style that is artistic and creative. Take direction from our inspiration boards. We will take the design to be developed.

Deliverable:
- Homepage design for desktop
- Homepage design for mobile

Parameters:
Function:
- limit clutter, limit to 3 fonts, limit to 4 colors
- simple, easy to understand UX

Style:
We are inspired by the basic feeling of Wikipedia.com and (C)raigslist.com, with a slightly more warm, welcoming, fun touch. If the website were a piece of paper it would be a homemade piece of imperfect textured paper as opposed to a clean white sheet. It should feel natural with an artistic flair of creativity.

Main display --
- Display month of recommendation i.e. “January”
- Show a scroll of friends and 5 posts(books) from each friend
- Please prioritize the title and description over the image

- Name of person who posted
- Title of post and personal description
- Send to a friend button
- Save button
- Comment button

- Logo (Just a circle)
- Search button
- Filter button with 3 options
- Add media button
- Save media button
- Messages button
- Profile page button
- Settings button
- Play/View button

From your description, I think you want fully functional website. But in the "Recommended Skills" section you don't mention any development related skills. Can you please tell me about what you want?
