Contest Brief

I need a design for the chat screen of a mobile app.

Think Slack and WhatsApp, so it must:
1. Use white space to help with clarity
2. Include all the necessary information one would expect in a single message, such as username, avatar, message body, emoji reactions, indication that a discussion thread has been started, etc
3. Be displayed as a vertically scrolled list of messages
4. Must include a text box to enter your own message, along with buttons to send and add an attachment.

But with these differences:
1. Must clearly distinguish messages you send from those that others send.
2. Must display people's avatars with something other than the typical circle (wow me)
3. Must distinguish messages from people who are your contacts.

As this is for a mobile app, it would be better to use the skin of a mobile device, such as an iPhone.
