Contest Brief

Xplore is the next biggest and best casual surf/streetware clothing brand. It entails a laid back look for a wide spread age of young to mature aged men. It is an Australian based brand taking everybody on a journey too discover the world. We wish too entail a lifestyle for all ethnicities and cultures to feel comfortable in our clothing collection whilst exploring the unknown, but to be doing it feeling comfortable with their appearance as well.

Today we are looking for a graphic designer to follow us on our journey to the top of the industry and take down the big dogs by making a statement. We are looking for someone with an artistic background (preferably enjoys the fashion industry) who is not only good at drawing on paper but more importantly good with Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar applications) to be able to go into business with and design the best collection of clothing.

To fulfill this position we are asking you to create what you think would be the best representation of our company logo. We are looking for something simple yet presents who we as a brand (outdoorsy, adventurous, casual, comfortable, surfy), if you can implement a magnifying glass into the logo, a roman numeral X, or do something completely unique, you will be looked upon immensely. Please keep it simple and distinctive. Create and Upload your design to this competition and we will get in contact with the winner for further progression.

Yes the reward may be small now but we know it will be large in the future.

    Hello all entrants, as much as we are enjoying the designs so far, we are also looking for somebody to think outside the box and utilise the word "Xplore" into something small and easily distinctive for the brand. A Logo design that would fit the space of perhaps a magnifying glass or something of that size, similar to brands such as; Rip Curl, Quicksilver, Brixton, Tommy Hilfiger, Billabong, etc... All of which have a Unique small Logo which is recognisable without it's name prevalent. However if you can implement this small unique distinction into the name itself and it can therefore be used with/without the name "Xplore" the award will be granted to you immediately and further business will be looked into, Thanks the Xplore Team.
