We are a company that designs signage and donor recognition walls. At times, our design department gets busy, and we look for talented graphic designers to assist. This project will ultimately be realized as a built piece that has dimension. We can translate the design into a fabricated piece.
We are in need of an artistic design for a donor recognition tree and corresponding mural. The desired components include:
A background image that is a landscape with a river and maybe a field (Image from Kennebec River in Maine, USA would be most desired, but not required).
The landscape image should fill the wall space which is 121" high x 138" wide.
Layered on top of this background will be a tree. The leaves on the tree will become donor plaques. (Names and information will be inscribed on them), so they need to be a consistent shape. The tree must be a deciduous tree that is indigenous to the area around the Kennebec river in Maine similar to a birch, maple or oak. Leaves can be stylized.
There must be three sizes of leaves in the following quantities:
Small: (150) At least 2" x 3.5"
Med: (100) At Least 2.5" x 4.5
Large: (75) At Least 3.25" x 5"
There can be more than one tree or the tree can be stylized with a canopy that runs along the top or both sides.
In addition, there should be some wildlife that could also have donor names put on them. This wall will be in a medical environment for adults where children may visit. It would be nice to be able to ask the children to find the birds, ducks, squirrels, eagles ladybugs, etc.
The intent is to have something that distracts people who are ill and stressed and that enhances the environment.
If the landscape does not work graphically, there could be some field of depth that gives the sense of other trees ( maybe ghosted/watermark like images.)
An abstract design is allowable.
VERY IMPORTANT: This piece should not feel cartoonish.
