I need a logo for my small business

Contest Brief

Name of business is "Patriotic Resilience". I'm a retired veteran, business is teaching life saving skills and preparedness for everyday life events or potential events combined with a mental resiliency that is supported by a persons strong sense of Patriotism. I'd like some sort of spartan helmet or shield, the roman numeral three, and of course the stars and stripes/red, white, and blue incorporated. I'm open to any thing else but I'm trying to keep it from getting too complicated. In addition, if it can be done, maybe a "distressed" look to the image, faded colors, scars, dents, wear and tear if that makes sense. I've included an image as reference but please do not use this exact image.

    The business is primarily meant to provide instruction to the average citizen in defensive shooting, "Stop the Bleed" first aid, and home defense measures. The target audience is 16yrs and older, male or female. The idea is to not only be able to help yourself, but to be able to help those who can't help themselves in an emergency.
