Contest Brief
I am looking for a skilled 3D designer who is proficient in creating step .obj and .stl files to facilitate printing of a large size model. The model I anticipate is a detailed three-dimensional representation of pyrite crystals embedded in either rock stone or basalt. 1. NEED TO SEE A ROTATABLE 3D YOUR NEW concept to win. Texture of rock should be irregular not smooth and match that of sample images. Use Sketchfab.com and make a model that can be enlarged/moved by the fingers on an iPhone in any direction
2. last image, img_6731 has the General
Proportions s and form we need. If you can’t find it ask me! W84uATmac.com
where AT=@
3. Need your very best price if you are not the winner! I may by runners up too!
Project Requirements:
* Develop separate 3D designs of the pyrite crystals, thst could be printed as cluster or more with all surfaces finished AND the rock stone/basalt
* The final product should be 58” high 26” wide and 18” deep in size
* The assigned 3D designer should aim to achieve a high level of detail as possible in the creation of the model
* Also have design with ten thousandth inch clearance to
Merge the separate 3D designs into one entire model
by having the least number of male protrusions needed to securely anchor crystals into corresponding receptacle cavities in the rock
Ideal Freelancer:
* Proficient in the use of 3D designing software
* Experienced in the creation of .stp step files,.obj & .stl files for 3D printing
* A keen eye for detail to capture the intricate design of pyrite crystals and rocks
* Ability to blend the separate models into one flawless piece
Key to design is that this has to be architectural and impressive not merely a rock, “decorated” with crystals. Each crystal and it’s rotation and spacing must contribute to impressiveness. Although thr cubic crystals are often random, the relationship to neighboring crystals involves DRAMATIC penetrations. Look at the supplied natural crystals as examples and guides, and invent your own!
…. but you can only copy, if you so wish, the last crystal for which I have permission to use.
I am hoping to get this project started ASAP. I'll provide pictures of the different specimens to combine into several options. You're expected to employ your professional skills and creativity while consulting those specimens.
