Contest Brief

Hello graphic designers!

I have recently finished my first book – The Power of Professional Closeness: A Guide to Taking a Holistic Approach to Your Business.

On October 1st, the book will be launched on Amazon and I am looking for the following to help me promote it on social media prior to this date.

Specifics:
• I require three (3) images for use on Linkedin (1200 x 630 pixels). My Content Marketing Manager will then create text to accompany the images.
• Photoshop images are good, but the end result must be compatible with GIMP so that my Content Manager can make any minor tweaks prior to posting, if necessary.
• I have attached an InDesign file for your reference re Hex codes, color schemes (pls use colorpicker if necessary), and the overall look/theme that we’ve been working with so far.
• We have so far only posted pictures of the book cover and are looking for a creative way to build on this without straying too far from the main premise – it’s written by a professional (organizational development consultant & leadership coach) for other professionals (leaders).

Here’s a description of the book itself, which is aimed at organizational or team leaders with some experience:

“When you’re the decision-maker for your organization, the pressure can be enormous. You want to do right by the business and your team members, but it’s easy to feel lost given the unceasing noise coming at you. Your team could provide the guidance and motivation you need to move forward, but that would require being vulnerable with them. Honestly—the thought of opening up like that makes you uncomfortable.

Govert van Sandwijk sees leaders across the globe struggling with this issue, and in The Power of Professional Closeness, he shows how to unite your organization around a sense of openness that starts with you. You’ll learn how the different parts of our brain drive rational and emotional decision-making, then dive into the basic laws of influence that can be used to raise the collective intelligence of your team.
Finally, Govert offers strategies you can use to create the type of close-knit workplace environment that empowers you, your team, and the organization to grow and prosper.”

If I love your images I may possibly require your help with some post-launch materials so we can keep momentum going.

A final note: Please remember that while the sample file provided is in InDesign format, we require the final product in a workable Photoshop or GIMP format – not InDesign.

Thanks.
Govert
