Contest Brief

redesign logo for company that supply machines to deposit thin hard coatings and also provide coating services.
Flagship product is DLC (Diamond like carbon which is a Black coating).
The coatings are applied for aesthetic or technical reason. The website is under construction plasmakote.com current logo attached. Logo must be unique, simple, remind of something luxurious and technological. stock logos will be deleted

than you all for your entries. it's been a depressing contest. Not 1 original idea, most logos just copies of other logos or pure stock images. No logo managed to capture the business values of elegance and technology. without shame a lot of you copied each other... No 5 stars and no winners! I let Freelancer to spread the money between the 2 only designers that seem to have put a bit of creative effort (or at least I couldn't find any logo like the one they posted online). Good luck with your creative careers

diamond is to symbolize hardness but be creative, the logo doesn't necessarily need to have a diamond in it. The concepts that it needs to suggest are Hi-tech, hardness, luxury, elegance.

Also avoid using a font from a videogame from the 90s. that really doesn't give an idea of luxurious and high tech but rather outdated and boring
