Company Description: Fluorescentia is a cutting-edge company specialising in utilising a fluorescent sensor to measure blood concentrations of platinum drugs, which have well known intended uses in chemotherapy to treat cancer. The company's technology is able to discriminating activation (oxidation) states of platinum drugs, and their concentrations using readily available laboratory equipment technology, with potential to also form the basis of a personalised/precision medicine offering. This technology has the potential to revolutionise (chemotherapy/cancer treatment) by enabling healthcare providers to optimise dosing for greater efficacy/effectiveness, limiting side-effects/toxicity, and reducing number of rounds of treatment required.
