Contest Brief

Our company is developing a platform to help city residents communicate issues to the city and state officials in Africa. Very similar to what is used by cities in the US to communicate service issues.
A logo is needed to represent the application on the mobile device and the web. The platform name is "774".
Design will include foreground and background colors and icons to be used on the mobile application and the web to give the platform consistency across the various environments.
Icons will be provided for the 4 main categories on the mobile and web home page.

Key points:
- Less is more, so a clean uncluttered style is key.
- Web will be responsive so icons and colors should work well with dynamic sizing.
- Modern look and feel.
- Bright colors and attractive
- Should convey the empowerment that is being given to citizens to speak out.
- Platform is called “774”

Deliverables:
- Logo for web and mobile.
- Icon to represent the mobile app on the device
- Favicon for the web
- 5 icons to represent the main homepage functions: Map, Submit report, Open Reports, Service Request & Info.
- Mobile interface layout & design
- Background and foreground colors and image for mobile and web.
- Original editable digital files (PSD, Ai, TIFF)

I have attached screenshots of the beta app. It currently does not have any design applied. It is just to show the functionality. I have also attached a wireframe of the planned web page.
