Contest Brief

Hi, I own a Bridal Boutique. The name is Empire Bridal. I have attached a picture of my current logo. I want a fresh new look. I would like it to look more current. It doesn't necessarily need to have a picture/symbol associated with it. I don't want a tagline. And I want to be able to use it either vertical or horizontal, so I can fit it on various applications. For eg. website, business cards, invoices etc.

**Thanks for the logo's so far. I will add another picture, of an idea I had. Would like to see some designs similar to this, that may look a little bit softer.
