Contest Brief

Dunst Bros Builders is a local, family-owned building company offering custom home design and construction. We cater from homes through to multi residential developments. Established in 1960 the business has now reached its 3rd generation of directors. On our 60th anniversary we are considering refreshing our logo to be better attuned to our new marketing style and evolving business. Our core philosophy is focused around value, quality and a no-nonsense approach. We are evolving into more complex and customised home designs and exploring alternative sustainable and cost effective materials. Our new directors having a background in architectural design is driving us to discover more creative design solutions and passively efficient techniques in order to deliver homes that truly answer the needs of the modern family. We imagine the new logo being refreshed to be a more neat, circle design rather than the angled oval while maintaining a vintage logo styling. Our colours have been centred around green and orange which is well recognised in the Tamworth region. We would ideally like to retain the colours but happy to see it utilised in a more restrained way.
