Contest Brief

I'm looking for an artist to create a pirate-themed, single color vector graphic that is suitable for vinyl cutting.

The graphic should include the "PYRAT" logo attached, along with your pirate themed design.

The maximum dimensions of the canvas are 500mm wide, and 300mm high, but the design does not need to fill the whole canvas.

This project is perfect for graphic designers who are well-versed in vector art and are able to create illustrations that are suitable for vinyl cutting. Thanks for considering!

Update: Many people are entering designs with greyscale, or very fine details - they are fine for printing, but not for vinyl cutting. We have only black and white to work with for this project - no grey scales.

Bonus tips:

1) This design is actually for a show car (which is called PYRAT). The car is a BMW, so if you can find a way to incorporate the BMW ///M logo in the design, that would be awesome! For example, I have seen a few entries where the Pirate is wearing a hat with a logo on it - that would be a great opportunity to switch in a sneaky ///M logo! I have uploaded a monochrome outline version here, but feel free to use a filled-in version in your design too.

2) The Piratebay logo is royalty free, and could make for a humorous interpretation? I don't know, you guys are the designers, not me! I have uploaded it here for your consideration

  I like the design, but greyscale images don't work for vinyl cutting - it needs to be a 2-colour image and can't have details that are super fine. It will be used to make a vinyl cut sticker.
