Contest Brief

THIS CONTEST IS RUN OVER 4 WEEKS TO ALLOW ALL ENTRANTS TO CREATE THE FULL ANIMATION

We require an illustrator / animator to create this clip explaing how our product works
We want to do this via 2 animated characters (i have attached an idea of the look of the characters )

First character is Bill he's sensible likes a deal, likes to plan and yet he is just a normal guy
then theirs Henry he thinks hes great, likes flashy cars and lives by the seat of his pants
but as long as he looks good he doesn't really care

You can show the scenes either in split screen or alternating showing bill and charles approaching the day in there own way but at similar stages up to you

I have attached the Film script to work from
as well as a sketch board showing scenes

We will run this contest for 4 weeks and guaranteed winner

You will have greater response and success if you can create a short animation clip in line with what we are looking for
Please dont provide still images as we want to see your animation flow and structure for our clip

If you have entered our previous contest please read the information again and try to get closer to what we are looking for in look feel and characters
WE WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY ANIMATIONS THAT ARE NOT COMPLETE OR IS NOT RELEVANT TO THE STORY BOARD

    hi I am working on it, I have doubt while reading your script, can you tell me how to show the MOT passed on a paper. can you explain that a man holding a car on his top in your script - is that a logo or something (Visual V).

      Hi Vujayan the man fron the auto centre (garage) has a sheet of paper in his hand which is the certificate that says the car has passed its M.O.T

    Hello! I have some questions... Are there only 2 pages of story/sketch board? because, seems, the script has more scenes. / I can not figure out the Visual B and D meaning of "Moto due" and "Stock & Shares", and why two different messages pop up for Bill(Moto due) and Charlie(Stock & Share)? / Are we allowed to use other software except than After Effects?

      Hi Soha M.O.T is where the car goes in to the garage to make sure it is safe and works ok. then it gets a pass to show the car is in good condition to drive on the UK roads Stocks and shares is where charles looks on his phone to see if he is making money from investments hes made

    Looking at the project in more details, can see a lot of work to be done here. Well, I have a question, in the script appears a narrator for the scenes...does it means that you need a voiceover in your animation? or can it be made with other resources?, for instance plain text, kinetic typography...
