E-Receipt System
I can create a web application that can generate a qr code for every order, which when scanned by the user, gets recorded in the database as his order. Also, the customer will be able to see his receipt and optionally request for a printout. Work Flow: 1. Customer makes a purchase. (as usual) 2. Scan items at the point of sale. (as usual) 3. Order is added to the database. 4. e-receipt generation with an added qr code. 5. User scan the qr code. 6. Order is mapped to the user in the database. 7. User can view the receipt on his account. 8. User may or may not request for a printed receipt. 9. User can filter receipts by products and other features. Database: 1. Products table 2. Order table = to enter order details, qr code generation depends on thi table. 3. OrderDetails table = more detailed information on orders including the products, quantities.etc 4. User - user demographics and other details
