Contest Brief
We will be launching a positioning service for amusement, theme, water parks based on Bluetooth technology. The amusement park will host many Bluetooth gateways and each person to be positioned is wearing a light bracelet beacon, sending position information to the gateways. The families/groups/teams form groups of tags and they can see the real time position on a web app on their mobile phones. The same web app is used in ChomeOS tablets on kiosk stations where everyone can go and see their group on a map. Each amusement park can have multiple maps and each time can have 0-100 tags in the group.
The system is to provide a sense of security without the promise of it being a true safety device. As an analogy; Offshore survival suits promise security if worn correctly, but children's life ring does not promise safety, parents are still responsible.
We would like to challenge the competitors with two views:
1) The very first view of the app. The user needs to either provide an existing group name or create a new group. You are free to brand it as you wish (service name, colors, fonts, logos, etc.).
2) The map view. How do we display maps and positions on them? How do we show the users, that their group has several tags on several maps? Landscape or portrait?
