Website bug hunt and UX testing
Find errors and unexpected behaviour on our website, www.brandos.com. Help us identify what users might find weird or unusable. The purpose of this contest is for us to try out the concept of letting freelancers help with the bug hunt. The freelancer who can find and present the most errors in the best way will be chosen as the winner. In addition to this contest we are looking for several freelancers who can help us error search each month, so if you show here that you can successfully find and report bugs there is a high chance that you will be invited to do this periodically.
We have 4 sites, or 4 languages. They are functionally almost identical, but there might be bugs related to translations for example, so feel free to screen them all if you speak the language. If you don’t speak the language you can still find UX related bugs. And make sure to register which site a bug report refers to.
Our sites are:
[login to view URL] (redirects to [login to view URL])
What we want:
We want a fresh perspective, a new set of eyes pointing out what we’ve missed. Find the bugs, find the annoyances. Desktop, mobile, whatever. We want the site to feel smooth and usable.
We want this to be reported back to us in a concise and clear format. We leave up to you to decide how. It doesn’t need to be fancy, just simple and usable.
What we don’t want:
We’re not looking for a pentest or ddos-test. Just the normal users perspective. However, if you would find potential security concerns we consider that bugs as well, and will pay a finders fee. But the focus is UX, not security.
We have very limited capacity to answer questions or give individual feedback during the project, instead we will give collective feedback. This will then hopefully help you get a better understanding of what we are looking for.
