The device measures three of the most important and basic parameters for growth of plants namely soil moisture, temperature and humidity. The microcontroller is Arduino Uno. The FC28 Hygrometer and DHT11 sensors are used to measure soil moisture and temperature and humidity respectively. The sensors read the data and send it to the microcontroller board. The board then processes and maps the data as per the code, and finally displays it on the LCD unit.

This is a simple project to begin working with a ROS2 Humble/Foxy U20/U22 programmer. This is Step 1 in a series of sub-projects. In the attached photo is a 2-wheeled robot with a 3rd omni-wheel for inherent balance. The 2 motors are controlled using a command <velocity,L,R> passed over a USB serial port to a Speed XIAO motor controller. This is a D.I.Y. art project that will take place in a lecture theatre that has flop down seats.
