I want a database built to house all my property listing data for the backend of an app I am building. Previously I was using excel and VBA functions to manage all data, but our datasets are getting too large and too many updates, so now we are switching to PostgreSQL and pgAdmin. I am new to all of it and don't have the time to build and learn all of it. I would like to continue to be able to use pgAdmin as my gui since I have learned a little about it already. I currently work with a personal excel workbook and I want to be able to share this file with certain colleagues but there is certain information that I don't want them to be able to see. I have a very simple macro that when executed asks for a password to hide certain sheets of my excel (3 sheets) while leaving the other ones open and protected, except 3 sheets that I want my colleagues to work on.
