I use excel and pivot tables for weekly cost tracking and projection. The process is clunky and difficult. I believe FileMaker will provide a more elegant solution. I want to do the majority of the work myself and use this as a process to develop FileMaker skills. I am looking for help getting started in the right direction and ad hoc help as I hit problems.

Saw you were the only Aussie in the category for XOJO programming. I currently use Filemaker Pro to host 30 booking iOS apps which feed into a master database (CRM if you will) that allocates all information from the booking apps into readable and editable fields, follow ups, task lists, reports etc. Looking to jump platforms from Filemaker to XOJO (or otherwise if recommendations) and replicate as well as fine tune what I already have created. We have a FileMaker Server on IP1 and 2 instances of FileMaker Pro on IP2 and IP3 interconnected. On one instance are the emails with the automatic import script and on the other instance are the reservations with automatic import from the database. To fix the following issues: * instance 1 or instance 2 (.fmp files) remains blocked without any replication behavior, requiring the Recover action which takes a long time; It can no longer be stopped from the FMS Dashboard, it is necessary to restart the virtual machine on which FMS is installed. * once we reached a certain request number, it stopped importing the emails automatically !! Small thing which I can't get done, probably 5 min work.
