I need to customize the amount of time in which a session is automatically closed in PHP. By defaulf PHP is closing my session after 24 minutes of inactivity and I need to extend this to 9 hours. I have tried to acomplish this by changing the following parameters in file: session.gc_maxlifetime session.gc_probability session.gc_divisor session.cookie_lifetime I also tried to make a session timeout, using a time stamp, according to some advices I read in stackoverflow.
