Ajax javascript expert (sources included)

I have attached 3 files, 1 with an image to look and understand what I want to achieve and the source code of two asp pages: the first page ([login to view URL]) is a holderpage and displays a table through a <div> which actually loads the table information from the second page ([login to view URL]) using an refresh interval of 10 seconds. Now I want to achieve the following. 1. If any displayed data on the first page between <td> THIS VALUE IS ALWAYS A NUMBERS </td> changes in the interval I want the page to throw a "Add sticky notification" like displayed on the following URL <[login to view URL]>. 2. Fix a caching problem which occurs with InternetExplorer only I only want an alert for a position where the number has changed. The alert should display the differences in numbers since the last partial page update. Only respond if you can do this. ## Deliverables must work in all browsers
