Custom Email Subscription Page

Develop a custom email subscription page, I want a website like [login to view URL] the above was built with asp.net but if you have another platform to build it with to deliver what i want which is , that after subscription, customer get a confirmation email to confirm they have access to that email and after confirming mail.....another email containing an ebook attached or link to download ebook is sent to customer. I must be able to access all email entered in. you can use mail chimp widget with wordpress as long as it achieves the goal and is clean, just like above. If we need hosting i will get the most basic hosting as i donot want any heavy thing ...just simple email subscription.
