We have an in-house intranet site built on ASP. Our programmers have moved the site from one old Server 2003 to a new Server 2008. Both servers have IIS installed and we can provide Remote Desktop access.

The problem we have when we try to migrate the site is connecting to the new server MSSQL. We reset the SA password thinking it is a password issue but that does not seem to be the problem. We can still attach to the old server MSSQL. Mainly we need help getting the new server to attach to the database on the new server.

So in a nutshell we need the site and db copied from the old server to the new server and make sure the site can connect to the DB on the new server.

I believe that this will be an easy process for someone who is skilled at MSSQL DB management.
