Here is the Problem Statement
I have the temp table that is from an import. I want to insert it to the production application table that sounds semantically related, i.e. tempERPSales to ERPSales. If the destination column has AAAAAID (ID as last two charaters), it's an identity column. So, I can't insert the value, i.e. SalesRep to SalesPersonID. I have to look for a semantically related sounding table, ie SalesPersonMapping and find a column that matches, SalesPersonMapping.ERPNumber. And then transform, or in other words change the import value in the temp table [login to view URL] to [login to view URL] where SalesRep matches SalesPersonStoreMapping.ERPNumber.
So I have to go through that discovery for about 10 columns. Whats the best way to discover that?
