The main aim of this report is to analyse a turbulent jet stream entering a glass tank of 30 litres water [login to view URL] jet comprises of a rhodamine dye solution and the experiment was conducted in a dark room using a green colour laser light to enlighten the path of the jet . The results of the experiment are in the form of pictures clicked at various instants of jet traversal .I am attaching the experimental procedure and some pictures clicked of the turbulent jet along with this order for your reference .
The next phase of the experiment is to analyse/validate these photos using a supercomputer called BLUE CRYSTAL based in the university.(I have been provided with a user id and password along with the instructions to use the supercomputer for processing the photos). I am currently working on processing these pictures to get results like mean intensity of laser light, particle velocity etc and will try to provide you with the results in the next 2 days .
I am attaching the official report making guide along with the theory which is to be understood before beginning with the report so i request you to please go through the theory first. This is an open ended report so any good information relating the experimental results to submerged turbulent jets would be appreciated . Please go through the all the files attached to this order to get a clear understanding of what the report demands .
Also, I want the paper to be written in British English if possible.
