Since you will be graduating soon, you need a personal strategy to succeed in your career. For this assignment, you will develop a personal vision, mission and core values for your own career. Your mission statement should be 100-200 words and achieve the uses and characteristics of a good mission statement discussed in class (although some may not apply). Your vision statement should be 50 words MAXIMUM and should be your ultimate goal that you hope to achieve in the future. Be ambitious and creative! Your core values should be at least 4 values that fall into the different dimensions of responsibility described in Chapter 3, along with one way that you will demonstrate each value.

Topics to focus on:

Vision in how you see yourself entering into the Hospitality Industry and making great contributions while moving towards a senior position.

Discuss goals as it relates to working with customers and providing service, working with the in house team and all the departments and working with senior management to move up. Use examples of vision and mission statements from large hotel or casino companies which you can find online to craft a personal version of similar ideas.
