4. Alternatively, do you anticipate that your own ethical stance – your own particular personality and set of ethical standards and modes of behavior with clients, colleagues and those in competition with you – will serve fundamentally to define you and who you are and how you are perceived by others (clients, colleagues and those in competition with you)?
5. Ultimately, do you consider that your ethical standing is more likely to (i) foster your successful career, (ii) be neutral to your career, or (iii) that one day your career may have to “pay a price” for your ethical position?
6. Do you consider that the “you” in the work place is as important to you as the “you” when at home or with your chosen friends?
7. Do you consider that it is possible to have two “you’s” – the one in the workplace and the other outside the workplace (as Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone in the Godfather)?
