AWS cluster setup using cloudera manager with many instances. Need backup sometimes when required.

Hi Concerned, We have created clusters locally several times and run application on the same. For the same to be done on AWS cloud you need to have 1 head node with possibly 2 NIC cards and rest worker nodes..maybe 4-5 whatever you like. But for the same to be scalable you will require a third party tool (Rocks package), which has scripts and can do the things on a go. or else you will have to add things manually (change conf files everytime you increase the cluster). Another very cool option to use cloudify with amazon openstack cloud....which scales servers automatically depending on the load on each app server....it is the best tool to use now a days.
