Hi, I am kamal from India, having 6 years of experience in software development from various domains(Set-top box, Network player, Android Smartphone and Android Set-top box). Previous Project:(Firmware upgrader - Android set-top box) My last project was a firmware upgradation application for a android running set-top box which is similar to your requirement. When ever a box boots up it will start the Upgrade service(my application) and the app will connect to the server and downloads a JSON which will have the update details. If the latest update is available in the server it will start the download initiating the Download activity and the download activity will popup a progress bar indicating the current download status with pause/resume and cancel button. This project is on live now. I am interest to work on your project and hoping for your positive reply.
