What you'll be doing There is an Immediate opening for an Android Developer in our company, to work with our CTO and CIO in India. Must have an advanced or native English level. Spanish is a plus. Responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with outside data sources and APIs Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 3+ years of Android development Have published at least one original Android app Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Be able to work indepedently Skills Excellent knowledge of the Android SDK Knowledge of XML and JSON a requirement Knowledge of SqlLite and a working experience in SQL databases Knowledge of HTML and Javascript Coding standards, organizational programming skills and good commenting practices is important
