Hi Thoughtfulwrites,
We are an e-commerce startup - an apparel (basic wear) e-store, which will be launched in the upcoming months and will operate on the Shopify platform.
At the moment we are looking to hire a freelance copywriter to help us create a copy for the website. Below I am outlining the details on the requirements:
1. Homepage page
We need to articulate our unique value proposition ( the brand/store headline plus a brief interpretation.
2. Brand Story
We intended to have a legend/myth concept to the brand story. We'll be able to provide you with some references here as well.
3. Others sections of the store
We might need to write copies for a few other "sections" of the website (like Details, Production, Style, etc.). Those are likely to be concise and catchy.
Roughly we will have one scroll down homepage which will include such sub-sections as Slogan/Tagline (1 short phrase), About us/Brand story (~200-250 words), Product Value proposition (1-2 shorts phrases). Then we'll have the actual shop and need product description (1 abstract) and further down the line we might need copy for short posts for our blog and social media accounts (from 160 letters long for Twitter to ~50 words long for FB, blog, etc)
