Hello

I am looking for some help with a project, I don't even know if it is possible so this post is just to get a rough idea from some programmers on if it is possible and how much it will cost. At the moment I do not have the money to start the project so I am looking for a rough quote on the total cost so I can hopefully get back to the person at a later date.

What I am looking for, I don't know if it would need to be a hardware driver or a software application. I want to emulate a different type of device using bluetooth on my Macbook Pro 15" mid-2009, ideally it would be universal and work with different Apple Mac hardware as well. What I mean by this is, with a standard Mac, the bluetooth function will appear to other bluetooth devices as a computer/laptop. I would like my Macbook to show to other devices as a mobile phone instead.

The reason for this is because I would like to connect it to my in-car hands free kit using the A2DP protocol to play itunes music from the Macbook through my car stereo. So all the app needs to do is change the bluetooth radio settings to show to other devices as a mobile phone instead of a computer.

Is this possible, and if it is, can you give me your best possible quote for the project.

My macbook runs Snowleopard 10.6.7 so it needs to be compatible with this and here are some details of the bluetooth radio inside it:
