I have another 200 minutes of recorded audio in the form of Audacity projects that needs to be edited. This would include adjusting pace, removing clicks and mouth noises between words, and deleting out mistakes (the majority was punch record but there are some portions that weren't). I will be doing the mastering and do not want any filters or processing done to the audio, just simple pace and clean-up. I am not as concerned about mouth sounds within words, I can go back and record these myself, just focus on removing the sounds between words and replacing with room tone.
I am following these guidelines: [login to view URL]
Thus the spacing should be:
There should be exactly 500ms (0.5 seconds) at the head of each file, and exactly 3.5 seconds at the tail. There should be exactly 2.5 seconds after the narrator announces the chapter (“chapter x”).
