Creating Bill of Materials for Light Steel Resort Villas

I am leading the development of a luxury resort in Lombok, Indonesia.

We have concept designs for 3 x villas. Our aim is to source materials, prefabricate and ship to site for installation at a remote location.

The villas will be built in a tropical minimalist style incorporating the following elements:

- Light Steel Frame Villa (on concrete piling foundations)

- Glass curtain walls and sliding doors for frontage

- Palmeco building board (a proprietary form of fibre board) for roof, floor decking and side/rear walls.

- Rockwool insulation

Each villa will have a terrace area set on concrete slab and a pool set in concrete.

We are looking for an estimator to produce the following:

i) Bill of Materials (including quantities and specifications)

ii) Calculation on labour time

iii) Preferred (but not essential) for cost estimates of materials and labour in Indonesian market.

iv) Advice on design, materials and construction programme related to BM.

Requirements include:

- Previous experience

- Formal qualification

- English language

Preferred include:

- Knowledge of Indonesia/SE Asian construction market

- Ability to work in Indonesian evening hours to maximize time available (e.g. evenings/weekends if in SE/East Asia or daytime if in South Asia, Africa/MENA or Europe)

Follow on work is likely to involve assistance in the evaluation of bids from different suppliers.
